Shipping Policy
Order Processing
Orders are generally processed within [1–3 business days] after payment has been successfully received.
Business days are Monday through Friday, excluding Canadian statutory holidays. Orders placed on weekends or holidays will begin processing on the next business day.
Processing time is separate from shipping transit time. During holidays, promotions, severe weather, or periods of high order volume, additional processing time may be required.
Shipping Destinations
We currently ship within Canada and to selected international destinations where shipping is available at checkout.
Available shipping options, estimated delivery times, and shipping charges will be displayed during checkout based on the delivery address and the items ordered.
We reserve the right to cancel an order when delivery to the provided address is unavailable, restricted, or not reasonably possible.
Estimated Delivery Times
Estimated delivery times are provided for reference only and are not guaranteed.
Typical estimated delivery times after the order has been processed are:
-
Canada: [2–10 business days]
-
United States: [5–15 business days]
-
Other international destinations: [7–30 business days]
Actual delivery times may vary because of carrier delays, customs clearance, weather, holidays, remote delivery locations, transportation disruptions, or other circumstances outside our control.
International Orders: Customs, Duties, and Taxes
IMPORTANT NOTICE FOR CUSTOMERS OUTSIDE CANADA
All customers outside Canada are solely responsible for any customs duties, import taxes, tariffs, brokerage fees, clearance fees, handling fees, or other charges imposed by the destination country or shipping carrier.
These charges are not included in the product price or shipping charge paid at checkout. The Crab King Canada does not collect, control, estimate, reimburse, or pay these charges on behalf of the customer.
Before placing an order, international customers should contact their local customs authority to determine whether additional charges may apply.
By placing an international order, the customer acknowledges and agrees that:
-
The customer is the importer of record
-
The customer is responsible for complying with local import laws and regulations
-
The customer is responsible for all customs documentation and clearance requirements
-
The customer must pay all applicable import duties, taxes, brokerage fees, and related charges
-
Customs inspection or clearance may delay delivery
An order will not qualify for cancellation or refund solely because the customer was unaware of, disagrees with, or refuses to pay customs duties, taxes, brokerage fees, or other import charges, except where otherwise required by applicable law.
Orders refused, abandoned, or returned because of unpaid customs charges may be subject to return shipping charges, customs charges, carrier fees, storage fees, and other costs. These costs remain the responsibility of the customer.

Tracking Information
When tracking is available, tracking information will be sent to the email address provided during checkout after the order has shipped.
Tracking updates are provided by the shipping carrier. It may take several business days for the carrier’s tracking system to display the first update.
Customers are responsible for monitoring tracking information and making appropriate arrangements to receive the package.
Delivery Confirmation
An order is considered delivered when the shipping carrier records the package as delivered to the address provided at checkout.

Contact us at thecrabkingcanada@gmail.com
We will provide reasonable assistance with a carrier investigation when possible, but we cannot guarantee a replacement or refund for a package that the carrier has confirmed as delivered.
Lost or Delayed Packages
Shipping carriers may experience delays that are outside our control.
A delayed shipment is not automatically considered lost. Carrier investigation periods and procedures may vary.
If your package has not arrived within a reasonable period after the estimated delivery date, contact us at thecrabkingcanada@gmail.com with your order number and tracking information.
We may require the customer to cooperate with the carrier’s investigation, provide documentation, or complete a declaration before a claim can be reviewed.

The customer is responsible for any original shipping charges, return shipping charges, customs fees, carrier charges, and reshipping costs associated with an undeliverable or returned package.
Returned or refused packages are not automatically eligible for a refund, except where required by applicable law.
Shipping Restrictions
Certain products may be subject to shipping, carrier, customs, or import restrictions.
The customer is responsible for confirming that the ordered products may legally be imported, received, possessed, and used in the destination country or region.
We are not responsible for products delayed, detained, confiscated, rejected, destroyed, or returned by customs or another government authority because of local import restrictions or the customer’s failure to comply with applicable laws.
